To My Ride-or-Die: A Rare Post About When Things Actually Go Right

Let’s get one thing straight: I usually use this space to talk about the chaos. The derailed schedules, the bullshit boundaries you have to ruthlessly enforce, and the mental gymnastics required to raise decent humans while keeping your own sanity somewhat intact.
But every once in a while, things actually click. The stars align, nobody is bleeding, the kids actually learn something, and the grand vision looks like it’s working. And when that happens? I have to give credit exactly where it’s due.
This one is for my ride-or-die.

You know who you are. You’re the one who doesn’t even flinch when I burn the playbook and pivot the entire operation for the third time before Tuesday. Trying to run multiple businesses, manage a massive property, and survive homeschooling isn't just a lifestyle choice—it's an extreme sport.
It requires a co-captain who doesn’t shy away from the absolute dirt. To the partner who tackles the heavy lifting, matches my unhinged energy, and knows exactly when to skip the unsolicited advice, pour a stiff drink, and just listen: I see you.
You don’t survive this kind of life with just "communication" and curated date nights. You survive it with someone who is perfectly willing to get in the trenches, take a hit, and keep moving forward. You are the glue keeping this whole circus from burning to the ground.
So, here’s to the rare days when the wheels actually stay on. And here’s to the partner who helps me build the vehicle, drive it entirely off-road, and fix the axle when we inevitably break it.
Stay unfiltered.
